Winter is here (uff dah!) and one of my favorite things is to just capture my kids in every day moments. We’re a busy house, filled with three kids, a mischievous elf named Agnes, twelve Irish shoes that are always clacking or flapping, one annoying dumb deaf dog, and all that goes along with family life. So if I get five minutes to grab on “film” I’m happy.
The girls are practicing their hard shoe Irish dance. My middle one is on the couch, learning harder math problems. Because that’s his hobby and daddy eats that up. The sun is setting over this amazing marshy area outside our house on the hill. And every time I see that gorgeous sun flare filling the room, I laugh at how absurd our $14 Menards christmas tree looks. But the kids picked it out and decorated it. So it’s winning, too.
That’s it. It’s that simple.
But it’s just a perfect little gift wrapped up in bow for this sentimental mushy-hearted momma.
Merry Christmas to those that celebrate…. .
A fantastic year in review will hopefully be posted before end of the year.
